Organigram

We would now like to present the organisational structure of the Institute of Plastics Processing at RWTH Aachen University.

IKV is divided into four departments: Injection moulding / PU Technology, Extrusion and Further Processing, Part Design / Materials Technology and Composites / PU Technology.

The Technology services offered by the Institute is are completed by the Centre for Analysis and Testing of Plastics (KAP) and the Training and Further Education department.

The head of the Institute and the Director of the Association of Sponsors is University Professor Dr.-Ing. Christian Hopmann. He also holds the Chair of Plastics Processing within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. His deputy since 2008 has been the Chief Engineer of IKV, Dr.-Ing. Markus Brinkmann.

IKV management team also includes Dipl.-Ing. Martin Seeliger and Dipl.-Ing. Leo Wolters.
