In a joint initiative by the IKV and the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University, plastics converters will also be offered a chance to measure their performance in comparison with the rest of the industry in the form of a benchmarking study, and thus help them to generate successful strategies.

The aim of the benchmarking system is to offer plastics processing enterprises an instrument that helps them improve their strategic alignment and enhance the company's success.
