More than 100 participants met online at the Hydrogen Technologies Forum on 31 August. Due to high demand, we are offering a repeat of the event, where recordings of the presentations from August will be shown again. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask the IKV moderators questions.

About the event

Technologies for the production and utilisation of hydrogen are considered key to achieving greenhouse gas neutrality. In order to make hydrogen usable in an environmentally friendly and efficient manner, processes and applications are required in which plastics also play an important role. For many companies in the plastics sector, it is therefore becoming increasingly relevant to classify their individual possibilities and competencies in connection with hydrogen technology and to open up opportunities for activity and business fields. The "Hydrogen Technology Forum" would like to open up a dialog on this subject and highlight potentials for plastics technology. The cooperation event of IKV with the "Hydrogen Hub Aachen" takes place within the framework of our series "IKV.Impulse".

In the "Hydrogen Hub Aachen", the city and city region of Aachen as well as the districts of Düren, Euskirchen and Heinsberg have joined forces to combine the strengths of the region and jointly develop a network, strength and visibility. The IHK Aachen supports the "Hydrogen Hub Aachen" as a project office.

Presentations:

  • Revolutionary propulsion concepts for climate neutral aviation | Dr. Martin Stadlbauer, Director Engineering Advanced Programs, MTU Aero Engines AG
