IKV invites scientists from all over the world to submit their contributions to the International Symposium on Plastics Technology on 10 March 2020.The deadline regarding this call for papers has now been extended: researchers have until 15 June 2019 to submit abstracts of their papers online. Accordingly, the announcement of the accepted abstracts will be postponed until 15 July 2019.

The IKV defines the thematic focus of the symposium by five main topics to which the researchers can submit contributions:
- Additive manufacturing
- Circular economy
- Extrusion
- Injection moulding
- Lightweight technologies
- Plastics Industry 4.0
Scientific committee to review the submitted contributions
All accepted contributions will be evaluated by a scientific committee and published as reviewed publications by Springer Verlag. IKV has appointed a scientific committee which consists of international scientists covering different research areas:

In addition to papers, which involve the author’s presentation in one of the symposium’s sessions, scientists may also submit a poster on their research topic.
